Dorel Juvenile Group USA Re-Announces Customer Satisfaction Program for Comfort Infant Car Seat.

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- As part of our continuing effort to achieve ultimate consumer satisfaction and to clarify recent media coverage, Dorel Juvenile Group USA re-announces our Customer Satisfaction Program.

In September, 2006, Dorel Juvenile Group initiated a Customer Satisfaction Program, involving Eddie Bauer and Alpha Elite brand rear-facing Comfort Infant Car Seats (also known as the Caress Comfort Infant Car Seat), to offer all consumers a newly designed base, free of charge. The units involved are in full compliance with and exceed all federal safety regulations; however, some consumers expressed dissatisfaction with base installation or its compatibility in certain vehicles.

These models are:

* Eddie Bauer Comfort Infant Car Seat: 22631 LNG, 22630 AFD, 22630 BAL, 22630 FTM, 22630 HPN, 22630 LRS, and 22630 LKM. The 22630 models are part of the 01726 Eddie Bauer Integrated Travel System.

* Alpha Elite Comfort Infant Car Seat: 22331 BLA and 22332 RLA

Only those seats manufactured between July 26, 2005 and February 28, 2006, are affected by this program. Consumers may find the model number and date information on a label located on the side of the infant car seat.
