Doosan Infracore Introduces Four New Excavators and Two New Wheel Loaders.

ATLANTA -- Doosan Infracore America announces the addition of four excavators and two wheel loaders to its line of heavy equipment. The DX Series of excavators--DX300LC, DX340LC, DX420LC and DX480LC-- and DL Series of wheel loaders--DL300 and DL400--are more durable, stronger, reliable and comfortable, as well as cleaner for the environment.

These models feature a newly designed electronic package that allows communication between the engine and hydraulics for optimum performance and fuel economy. Other innovative features available include a boom overload warning device, CD player, travel and swing alarm, and an auxiliary valve with one-way and two-way hydraulic piping to the end of the arm with flow control inside the cab.

Dealers and customers will get a first look at these new models at dig sites in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 19; Charlotte, N.C., on May 3; and Millstone, N.J., on May 10. Dealerships throughout the country will begin selling and renting these models in April.

"These new products feature class-leading horsepower, torque and efficiency while meeting Tier III requirements. They are also very quiet and comfortable," said Chris Neville, marketing general manager of Doosan Infracore. "Through new engineering technologies, each structure and component has been strengthened for exceptionally long life."

DX Series Excavators

Each of the new models in the DX series of excavators--300LC, 340LC, 420LC and 480LC--is known for its strength and durability and features a newly designed electronic package that allows communication between the engine and hydraulics for optimum performance and fuel economy. A dual-walled exhaust silencer reduces noise levels. Other features include convenient hose routing, wiring harness layout and filter placement, and centralized grease points on the boom and arm.

The ergonomically correct DX Series cab pampers the operator with fully automatic heating and air conditioning, a six-way adjustable seat with lumbar support, and a telescopic control stand. More glass surface and a transparent roof section provide increased visibility. Operating costs are kept low through the ease of routine maintenance, extended service intervals and increased fuel efficiency.

The optional DX300SLR package has a 10.0 M (31'1") boom and 7.0M (23') arm.

DL Series Wheel Loaders

The new 300 and 400 models in the DL series of wheel loaders score high on performance and durability. The common rail electronic engine produces optimal HP and torque while meeting the Tier III emission standards. Communication between the engine and fully automatic transmission produce smooth operation and excellent traction in all working conditions. The ZF axle maintains a high level of performance because the lower gear speeds, resulting from lower internal RPMs, provides lower heat generation and extends the life of the components.

Easy to maintain, the DL Series features centralized remote hydraulic checkpoints and accessible filters and electrical components. The hydraulically driven reversible fan can quickly clean debris from the cooling group.

The DL Series cab design accommodates all operators with tilting and telescopic steering column, adjustable arm rest for the joystick, and adjustable air suspension seat with lumbar support. The seat is 15 percent larger than its predecessor. With a 71 dB (A) interior noise level, this cab is extremely quiet. Other features include expanded visibility, fully automatic climate controls, a highly effective load isolation system, multiple work mode ZF transmissions and heated exterior mirrors for added visibility and safety on the jobsite.
