Donna M. Hamlin named Vice President, Human and Organizational Performance in Texaco's Human Resources Division.WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 1996--Donna M. Hamlin has been named Vice President, Human and Organizational Performance Organizational performance comprises the actual output or results of an organization as measured against its intended outputs (or goals and objectives). Division effective immediately, it was announced today by Human Resources Division President Richard F. Brenner. In her new position, Hamlin will be responsible for strategic human resources planning, organizational development, training and education, employee communications and the application of technology in human resources. She has worked extensively with multinational and domestic organizations, assisting executives in multiple areas, including human resources development, organizational design, strategic planning, labor relations, program planning and evaluation, and research design. Before founding Hamlin Harkins, Ltd., Hamlin specialized in human resources strategic planning for General Electric. Prior to that she taught at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at Troy, N.Y.; coeducational; founded and opened 1824 as Rensselaer School; chartered 1826. It was called Rensselaer Institute from 1837 to 1861. (RPI RPI - Rockwell Protocol Interface ) and Skidmore College. Hamlin holds a Ph.D. from RPI in organizational theory, industrial labor relations and communication technologies. She also holds a master of science degree in communications from RPI.
