Revenues for the second quarter totaled approximately $627,000, a 242% increase from the second quarter of 2000. Product sales in the BioPolymer bi·o·pol·y·mer

 segment of the business contributed to the majority of the revenue growth. For the six months ending June 30, 2001, the Company's revenues totaled $1.2 million, for an increase of approximately 116% compared to the same period last year.

The Company reported a net loss for the second quarter 2001 of approximately $4.1 million, compared with a net loss in the second quarter of 2000 of approximately $2.9 million.
