Donlar Announces First Major Product Sale Into California Agricultural Market; The Company's Beta-Proteins Demonstrate Increased Crop Yields.

Donlar Biosyntrex Corporation (OTC: DBSY), a world leader in green chemistry, products and technology, today reported the receipt of its first order for biodegradable environmentally friendly beta-proteins from a major west coast agricultural distributor.

The Company received full California registration of its products for all crops last year. California represents one of the country's largest agricultural markets, and the Company's crop registration is now effective in 47 states - including all western states. Donlar's beta-proteins, when incorporated into both common and specialty fertilizers, enhance nutrient absorption for more efficient fertilizer use and uptake by plants.

Numerous studies on the benefits of Donlar's beta-proteins when combined with fertilizers have shown increased crop yields and improved crop output traits including increases in protein, oil and starch production. The benefits of beta-protein use include an overall reduction in agricultural costs coupled with the environmental advantage of decreasing groundwater contamination. The U.S. EPA has determined that the safety profile of Donlar's beta-proteins does not require regulation.

More than 20 million tons of fertilizer is used in North America every year, representing approximately $10 billion in sales. There are over 2.5 million acres used for the production of fruits and vegetables in the western states alone. At average application rates of two quarts per acre, Donlar believes the market potential for its beta-protein products in crop nutrition management programs in the US alone exceeds $800 million a year in this product category.
