Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 Media Review, tag-lined "The Journal of Online Marketing & Publishing." It's at www.internetmediareview.com.

Managing editor Kim Mateus told us, "IMR's mission is to help print and electronic publishers understand and profit from the best practices used by the internet's most successful online publishers.

"Full access to IMR IMR - Internet Monthly Report ," she continued, "is available to Internet Media Review paid subscribers and IMR 14-Day Free Trial Offer subscribers. A full-year Charter subscription to IMR is $297 and will give the subscriber access to more than 50 in-depth research reports plus a variety of other resources."

Those reports, included in the IMR website, are:

* Best Practices Reports, 30-page reports detailing the website design and online marketing best practices for magazine, newspaper, newsletter and website publishers

* Business Strategy Guides, a comprehensive look at the business models used by the industry's most successful publishers

* Expert Reports, a series of topical topical /top·i·cal/ (top´i-k'l) pertaining to a particular area, as a topical antiinfective applied to a certain area of the skin and affecting only the area to which it is applied.
