Don Hotz Joins Home Products International as Chief Financial Officer.

CHICAGO -- Home Products International, Inc. (HPI) today announced that Donald J. Hotz recently joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all finance and accounting operations. He reports directly to Doug Ramsdale, Chief Executive Officer of HPI.

Hotz has more than 20 years of experience in financial operations, investor relations, financial reporting, treasury operations and cash management. He also has recent experience with Sarbanes Oxley implementation.

Before joining HPI, Hotz was Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Merisant Worldwide Inc., the distributors of Equal(TM) and Candarel(TM) brand artificial sweeteners. He was responsible for overseeing all financial operations for the $350 million dollar company worldwide. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Tab Products Company of Vernon Hills, Illinois, and various financial executive positions with Moore Corporation, in Bannockburn, Illinois.
