See JRL. ) at the board of directors meeting today. Davis is chairman and chief executive officer of Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), a $4 billion global provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions. Headquartered in Milwaukee, Rockwell Automation employs about 22,000 people. "Don has vast experience in leading the development of Rockwell Automation into a global automation leader. His knowledge will be a valuable complement to the Journal Communications board," said Steven J. Smith, chairman and chief executive officer of Journal Communications.
