An official said: "While most pregnant women with swine flu will only have mild symptoms like most other people, there is a higher risk of developing complications.

Expectant mothers have been told to avoid large crowds.

The UK Government is expected to face a dilemma when it comes to deciding who will be vaccinated first when doses become available later this year.
