Don't make caravans scapegoat; yourLETTERS.

REGARDING recent remarks on the caravan park inhabitants on the North Wales coast: Many of the inhabitants have bought and maintain well their caravans.

Many are forced into such accommodation because homes they have worked hard to keep have been lost because of economic or health downturn.

In the area I live many of the rented properties are poorly maintained, damp and hard to heat although they look good on the outside.

to 150 forget to address number.

The obvious solution is much more social housing but this requires financial commitment from the Assembly government, but maybe this is on the cards.

In Abergele of late ALL elected political representatives have protested vehemently on mixed housing builds so it would be fair to assume they have a solution planned, as yet unspoken, which does not involve new builds, park benches or shop doorways.

I think it only fair politicians provide a solution for any perceived problem raised, so I await a publication of plans and time scale envisaged to satisfy all involved.
