Dominick Dunne best selling writer dies from cancer.

Vanity Fair writer, bestselling author and investigative journalist, Dominick Dunne, died Wednesday at his home in Manhattan, the Associated Press reports.

Dunne died at age 83 after a battle with bladder cancer, his son Griffin Dunne said, according to the agency.

Dunne covered famous stories such as the trial of O.J. Simpson. His bestselling books include "The Two Mrs. Grenvilles," "Fatal Charms," "People Like Us," "An Inconvenient Woman," "A Season in Purgatory" and "Another City, Not My Own."&nbsp;<br>Dunne is survived by his sons Griffin, Alex and a granddaughter, Hannah.
