Dolores Zupan.


Former MTNA president Dolores Zupan, NCTM, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on May 19, 2007.

Zupan gave many years of service to the music teaching community, including three years as Missouri Music Teachers Association president. She was the first independent music teacher to serve as MTNA president. Zupan has also served MTNA as president-elect, vice president for local associations and student chapters, vice chairman of IMTF and president of the West Central Division. She was a charter member of the St. Louis area local MTA. In 2006, she was honored as an MTNA FOUNDATION Fellow.
