Dollywood's Second Annual KidsFest Filled with Summertime Fun.


PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. -- Take seven clever canines, throw in seven high-flying extreme athletes, toss in everyone's favorite veggies Veggies of Nottingham, also known as Veggies Catering Campaign, is a campaigning group based in Nottingham, England, promoting ethicalbum alternatives to mainstream fast food. , mix in four new singing bears, sprinkle with special activities and entertainment created just for kids and you've got Dollywood's KidsFest(TM)--the largest kids' festival in the south--which gets under way at the park June 18.

The seven-week festival promises summertime fun for kids of all ages--and the young at heart--with:

--Veggie Tales(TM) live stage show starring Bob the Tomato Bob the Tomato is a computer-animated character in the animated series VeggieTales by Big Idea Productions. Bob and co-star, Larry the Cucumber, are the frontveggies for the series. (TM) and Larry the Cucumber Larry the Cucumber is a green cucumber character in the animated series, VeggieTales, by Big Idea Productions. Larry and co-star, Bob the Tomato, are the frontveggies for the series. (TM). Performed in the park's Showstreet Palace Theatre, the show combines the classic VeggieTales stories Rack, Shack and Benny and The Pirates That Don't Do Anything to create an entertaining story with a positive message for children.

--Perondi's "Extreme Canines Show"(TM) features fur-flying fun(TM) for the entire family with seven uniquely talented dogs performing a variety of tricks. The celebrity canines have appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network , CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  Early Morning and Animal Planet's Pet Stars.

--Kids Karaoke Stage, roving clowns, stilt stilt, common name for some members of the family Recurvirostridae, shore birds including the avocet. Stilts, as their name implies, have the longest legs of any bird except the flamingo.  walkers, jugglers and the new roving duo Trapper and his best friend, nine-foot-tall "Bear."

Special interactive activities for children are featured throughout the park each day along with Dollywood's more than 30 rides and attractions. Park admission is required for all KidsFest events, while additional charges apply for some special activities.
