Dolby Unveils PC Entertainment Experience Initiative for Systems Integrators; New Dolby ''Board Supports'' logos make it easy for systems integrators to promote PCs built with mainboards that feature Dolby surround sound technologies.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Dolby Laboratories (NYSE:DLB) announced today that it has expanded its Dolby(R) PC Entertainment Experience program to include systems integrators. By displaying specially designed "Board Supports" logos, systems integrators can now leverage the value add that consumers associate with the Dolby brand name to their specific PC configurations. Qualifying systems feature mainboards built on the Intel(R) Express chipset with Intel High Definition Audio and built-in support for Dolby surround sound technologies.

As part of the PC Entertainment Experience program, Dolby already works directly with PC manufacturers and mainboard vendors, and is now extending its reach to the systems integrator community. In order to reach systems integrators as part of the PC Entertainment Experience program, Dolby offers information, marketing materials, program collateral, and logos.

Personal computers featuring the Board Supports Dolby logo can deliver the most advanced set of Dolby audio capabilities. With support for up to 7.1 channels of surround sound, these PCs enable a great entertainment experience for consumers who access and store an abundant amount of digital content on their PCs, from music to movies to games. The Dolby suite of technologies combines advanced audio rendering with flexible controls to give consumers the power to customize their own listening preferences.

These PCs, provided by systems integrators and built in conjunction with the Dolby PC Entertainment Experience program, will feature the Board Supports Dolby Master Studio(TM) or Board Supports Dolby Home Theater(TM) logo on the exterior of the system.

Designed for Dolby Home Theater and Designed for Dolby Master Studio mainboard offerings from Abit, Asus, Gigabyte, Intel, and MSI feature Dolby technologies including Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Digital Live, Dolby Pro Logic(R) IIx, Dolby Headphone, and Dolby Virtual Speaker.
