TrueTime Inc. (Nasdaq:TRUE), a leading provider of precision time and frequency products, today announced the launching of its new Web site, www.truetime.net.

The new site was built from the ground up to specifically address network system administrators' concerns of how to accurately synchronize time across local and wide area networks. All computer clocks drift away from the correct time. The more computers and network devices on the network, the greater the time spread between the fastest and slowest computer clocks. This spread can lead to log file and time stamp errors, fault diagnosis/recovery and security and authentication problems. Now, thanks to TrueTime, network administrators can quickly determine their network's time risk through the company's new Custom Network Synchronization Risk Assessment Report. By answering just a few quick survey questions on the Web site, a custom risk assessment report is generated that provides a detailed, 30-day analysis of the clock spread rate and graphically shows where the network may be compromised or conflicted. In addition, the report shows an analysis of the computer operating system with respect to synchronization issues, details the risks associated with time obtained from the Internet, and describes the overall synchronization risk assessment index of the user's network.

When visiting the truetime.net Web site, viewers can also take a time server for a test drive. These Stratum 1 network time servers acquire time directly from a primary reference source, such as GPS and/or ACTS dial-up, and distribute time within a user's network using the Network Time Protocol. From the test drive page, users can access the Web interface of an on-line TrueTime network time server and see in real time the time server's operation.

Also from the new Web site, users can download free TrueTime's WynSync Windows Time Client Synchronization software. WynSync keeps time accurately synchronized to a high precision time reference such as one of TrueTime's high-precision time servers.

Visitors will also find on the new site informative Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), educational white papers, and user testimonials discussing the many advantages of using a precise network time server.
