NEWS that the then British Prime Minister Harold Wilson

James Harold Wilson, Baron Wilson of Rievaulx, KG, OBE, FRS, PC (11 March 1916 – 24 May 1995) was one of the most prominent British politicians of the 20th century.
 signed off a deal to pay Libya pounds 14million to stop arming the Provisional IRA Noun 1. Provisional IRA - a militant organization of Irish nationalists who used terrorism and guerilla warfare in an effort to drive British forces from Northern Ireland and achieve a united independent Ireland  should be more shocking than it actually is.

However, this latest twist in the Libya saga is sure to bring additional concerns to the families of IRA victims currently trying to make Colonel Gaddafi pay for his steadfast support.

As with so many of the murky dealings over the Troubles this latest revelation unfortunately raises more questions than answers for those still looking for justice.

Let's hope the details of the pounds 14million will not cause too much fresh pain.
