Dodge joins Time Warner Cable's Full Service Network(tm).


ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1995--David L. Dodge has been named vice president - Software Systems for Time Warner Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX), formerly known as AOL Time Warner, is the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in New York City, with major operations in film, television, publishing, Internet service and telecommunications.  Cable's Full Service Network.

Previously, Dodge was vice president of Engineering for Media Cybernetics cybernetics [Gr.,=steersman], term coined by American mathematician Norbert Wiener to refer to the general analysis of control systems and communication systems in living organisms and machines.  in Silver Spring, Md., where he managed the design and development of numerous software products and projects. He was responsible for the development of Halo Multimedia Suite(tm), a multimedia authoring application, and Gel-Pro Analyzer(tm), an analytic imaging application for the analysis of DNA/RNA.

Dodge also conceived, designed, and developed original inventions, one of which laid the foundation for the laser printer industry. He has served as a software engineering consultant to both government and private clients.
