, rising to the assignment of VP of Worldwide Operations by 1994, reporting to President of Worldwide Operations Ray Lane. In addition to his experience in the direct sales channel, Hoffman also spearheaded Oracle's acclaimed Telesales business, increasing that division's revenues four-fold in two years. Oracle's worldwide annual sales grew from $50 million to over $4 billion during Hoffman's tenure.

Hoffman replaces Marcie Stewart, 40, one of Documentum's earliest employees and architect of Documentum's sales force since 1992, who is retiring.
