Documentum Appoints Leading Executives to Spearhead Worldwide eBusiness Initiative; Names Former Oracle Veterans Dave DeWalt and Nazhin Zarghamee to Executive Staff.


PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1999--

Documentum, Inc. (Nasdaq:DCTM), the leading provider of Internet-scale content management solutions for powering eBusiness applications, today announced the appointments of Dave DeWalt to executive vice president and general manager, eBusiness Unit, and Nazhin Zarghamee to vice president of marketing.

DeWalt and Zarghamee bring a combined total of 27 years of eBusiness and information technology product development, marketing and sales expertise to Documentum. The new hires highlight the company's commitment to providing leadership to augment its current strategy to further establish and drive a successful eBusiness model. Dave DeWalt, Documentum's new executive vice president and general manager of the eBusiness Unit, comes to Documentum after having spent the last four years as a sales and marketing executive at several emerging Internet companies. Assuming the role of vice president of marketing is Nazhin Zarghamee, who has had extensive experience in top marketing roles in the enterprise and Internet technology arena.
