Document Security Systems Signs Licensing Agreement with Nampak Flexible.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Document Security Systems, Inc. (AMEX: DMC) ("DSS"), a leader in proven, patented protection against counterfeiting and unauthorized copying, scanning and photo imaging, announced today it has signed a licensing contract with Nampak Flexible, a division of Nampak Limited ("Nampak") and a leading flexible packaging manufacturer in South Africa.

The Company's first licensing agreement with a packaging business, the agreement is a royalty-based contract for one-year with automatic annual renewals for an additional four years. It includes DSS's AuthentiGuard[R] Suite of Technologies. Nampak Flexible has completed the testing and qualification of DSS's technology for a current customer, a large consumer products manufacturer, which is already commercially utilizing one of the licensed technologies.

Africa's largest packaging company, Nampak offers total packaging solutions, across all technologies: paper, metal, plastic and glass.
