DSS received two initial, non-refundable license fee payments of $250,000 in August and September of 2006. With the receipt of the $500,000 pre-paid royalty fee, DSS received a total of $1.0 million in cash from EGI in 2006. Furthermore, under the agreement EGI will pay DSS additional royalty fees on all EGI sales for security products that contain DSS's technology. This agreement, combined with the Company's recently completed private placement, provides DSS with sufficient capital for the foreseeable future.
