Document Security Systems Inc. Announces Membership in the Brand Protection Alliance.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Document Security Systems, Inc. (AMEX:DMC) ("DSSI"), a leader in proven, patented protection against counterfeiting and unauthorized copying, scanning and photo imaging, today announced that it has joined the Brand Protection Alliance. DSSI joins eight other members in the BPA, which was established in 2005 to serve as a resource organization to assist brand owners and their package providers in designing, developing and implementing customized, secure solutions to minimize organized brand theft and avoid the financial and legal ramifications of counterfeiting and product diversion.

Using a unique, systematic approach to assist brand owners, the BPA aims to educate customers on the leading edge technologies available, provide client consultation to design a customized solution, assist in the implementation of the identified solutions, and help clients verify they are receiving a return on their investment.
