Document Sciences Narrows Gap Between Print and Web Presentment at On Demand.

In ever-increasing numbers, customers are visiting Web portals to view account statements, obtain online price quotes and gather other information personalized to their needs and interests.

Delivering this information seamlessly from the browser to the printed page, or vice-versa, has been a challenge, forcing companies to integrate separate content and processes.

Document Sciences Corporation (Nasdaq:DOCX), a leading developer of eCRM and Content Automation solutions, aims to narrow this gap between browser and printed-page presentment with a set of Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools that can simultaneously generate personalized Web and print content, optimally composed for each medium. These tools, to be demonstrated during On Demand Expo, February 28th through March 2nd at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, enable real-time creation and distribution of statements, proposals, correspondence, collateral and other customer communications via Web or print.

Also on display for the first time at On Demand will be a software enhancement to speed Postscript color printing.
