Doculynx Offers Sales, Support and Services for Mercury Archive Retrieval Software; Doculynx Software and Services Allow Users to Control the Life-Cycle of Their Critical Documents.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Doculynx, Inc. and Captaris, Inc., a Washington-based provider of Business Information Delivery solutions, have entered into an agreement where Doculynx offers the Captaris Mercury Archive Retrieval Solution software under the Doculynx name and takes over all support and services for the customers of Mercury Software. Doculynx will also develop and sell future document life-cycle software products based on the Mercury platform and maintain the current archive and retrieval functionality of the current Mercury products. Doculynx continues to provide outsourced document archive services from its Pismo Beach, California production and services facility.

Current customers of Captaris Mercury Software products will receive focused support, enhancements and service directly from Doculynx. The Doculynx development and support team is comprised of personnel who have been instrumental in the creation, development and support of the original Mercury Software products. Customers of the Doculynx Mercury Software products will receive world-class support as well as development services for custom programming requirements.

Doculynx also markets Exstream Dialogue, document composition software, for the print and mail service bureau industry. The addition of Mercury Software gives Doculynx the foundation for a suite of products for total Life-Cycle control of High Volume Computer Output (HVCO) documents. Doculynx customers include print and mail service bureaus that use Exstream Dialogue to create and compose high volume production documents and Mercury Archive Retrieval Software to archive, retrieve and view these documents on CD-ROM and the Web for regulatory compliance and storage purposes. Future products and services will focus on the critical aspects of the HVCO document life-cycle and the subsequent revision, use and retrieval of these documents.
