DocuPort Completes Comprehensive Manufacturing Agreement for DocuPort Chameleon and Other Products.

) announced today that it has entered into a comprehensive manufacturing agreement with PCI (1) (Payment Card Industry) See PCI DSS.

DocuPort previously announced a preliminary agreement with PCI to manufacture the DocuPen(TM) portable scanner. The new agreement is a comprehensive agreement, covering the production of all DocuPort products.

DocuPort previously announced multi-year agreements with several international distributors, which anticipate substantial sales for the DocuPort Chameleon(TM) alone. "Interest in our DocuPen(TM) equals or seems to exceed the strong demand for the DocuPort Chameleon(TM). The DocuPen(TM) is an 8 1/2 by 1/2-inch pen-shaped, full-page scanner that can store up to 100 pages in memory. Students, business people, professionals, such as lawyers, doctors, accountants and engineers, in fact anyone who must copy information away from their home or office can use the DocuPen(TM). The DocuPen(TM) will make an image of anything; text, script or graphics, for later downloading to a desktop or laptop computer A portable computer that has a flat LCD screen and usually weighs less than eight pounds. Often called just a "laptop," it uses batteries for mobile use and AC power for charging the batteries and desktop use. Today's high-end laptops provide all the capabilities of most desktop computers. .
