On the morning of April 22, 2006, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom, Rhonda Kaye Dobson and Dr. Joseph Anthony Proli exchanged vows in the company of their family and friends. Rev. Drew Blanton officiated at the wedding ceremony. Guests enjoyed a presentation of pre-nuptial and ceremonial music by harpist Kay Salters of Hattiesburg. The lawn was adorned with fresh ferns and flowers. The guests were seated in chairs draped with ivory bridal satin and finished with coral satin sashes by Laura's Linens of Laurel.

The bride is the daughter of the late Rev. James Alien Cobb and Ms. Evelyn Littlepage Cobb of Laurel. She is the granddaughter of Rev. and Mrs. William Coleman Cobb of Genoa, Arkansas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Littlepage of Dover, Ohio.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. Edward Proli and Ms. Mary Sullivan Proli of Emerson, New Jersey Emerson is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 7,197.

What is now Emerson was originally formed on April 8, 1903 from portions of Washington Township as the Borough of Etna
.

The bride was escorted on the arm of her brother. The bride wore an original Allure gown of ivory taffeta taffeta, cloth, originally silk but now also made of synthetic fibers, supposed to have originated in Persia. The name, derived from Persian, means "twisted woven." Taffeta is in the same class and demand as satin made of silk. . The bodice of the gown was adorned with hand embroidery and beading beading,

 bodice was covered in hand beading. To match the bride, the skirt was also a flowing souffle. The bridesmaids wore strapless gowns of coral chiffon. The flowing tea-length skirts were finished with an elegant side bow at the waist. They carried hand-tied bouquets of irises, golden asters, Marlis roses, and Versilia roses. The floral arrangements were created by Randy Jackson of Laurel.

The groom wore a tuxedo original with a western cut, designed by Henry Torrence of Jackson. The material made from cashmere cashmere

Robert Podorefsky of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, served as best man. Groomsmen were Steve Wade of Madison; Dave Preusch of Laytonsville, Maryland; Dr. Mark Shramm of Farmington, New Mexico Farmington (Navajo: Tótah) is a city in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 37,844. The Census Bureau's 2006 population estimate for the city is 43,573. ; Rick Cobb of Laurel; Ken Johnson of Laurel; Dr. Lawrence Leader of Hattiesburg; and Dakota Cobb of Laurel. The groomsmen wore Two Button Jeffery tuxedos in black, with white lay-down collars accented with black bow ties and cummerbunds; to finish the look, Genoa black leather shoes were worn.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom greeted the guests in the pool area, which was surrounded by hand-carved Italian statues and fountains, while they enjoyed the music presented by Momentum String Quartet of Laurel. The bride and groom left for the reception in a white Lincoln stretch limousine provided by Elite Limousines of Laurel.

The morning was coordinated and directed by Sherry West of Laurel. Scruggs Photography of Laurel and Flux Motion Productions of Fairhope, Alabama, captured the special moments.

Guests enjoyed a reception at the Laurel Country Club, with live music by Redline of Slidell, Louisiana. The club was elegantly deco rated with exotic fresh flower arrangements. The bride's table was decorated with a sculpture created by Lladro and an ivory cake tiered with coral roses encircling encircling (en·serˑ·k  each layer. The cake was created by Sugar Baker's of Laurel. The groom's cake, also a creation of Sugar Baker's of Laurel, was death by chocolate This article is about the dessert.  and adorned with fresh strawberries and grapes drizzled with chocolate. The guests enjoyed hors d'oeurves of stuffed mushrooms, smoked salmon, caviar, and fresh fruit and a chocolate fountain. The guests were presented with Waterford crystal champagne flutes from the bride and groom as a token of appreciation in sharing their special day. The toasts were made with the Waterford toasting flutes and Dora Perignon Vintage 1998.

Following the reception, the couple was showered with rose petals thrown by family and friends as they departed for their honeymoon. The decor of the reception was created by JoLynn McLeod of Laurel.

On the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of the wedding, the bride and groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Laurel Country Club where family and the wedding party enjoyed cocktails and an elegant meal which ended with toasts to the bride and groom.

The couple enjoyed a two-week honeymoon touring Rome, Florence, Venice, and San Remo, Italy. The couple is now at their country estate near Laurel.
