Dobson Communications Selects Convergys to Provide Outsourced Billing Services for Wireless Voice and Data Offerings.

Convergys' Atlys Chosen for its Single-platform Support

of TDMA, GSM, and GPRS, Feature-rich Functionality

and Well-defined Product Roadmap

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, and Dobson Communications Corporation (OTCBB:DCEL) announced today they have signed a five-year outsourced billing services contract. Dobson will use Convergys' Atlys(R) billing and customer care product operating in a Convergys data center to support wireless voice and data services and emerging 3G offerings. Additional terms and the total value of the contract were not disclosed.

Dobson Communications offers wireless services to a population base of 11.4 million people in 60 rural and metropolitan service areas in 17 states. The company provides services through Dobson Cellular Systems, Cellular One, and American Cellular Corporation, which is co-owned by AT&T Wireless.

Convergys is the leading provider of wireless billing services to U.S. mobile operators. Its Atlys billing and customer care product is a total customer management solution combining a flexible, scalable billing platform with a complete suite of integrated contact center services.
