Do you know a child who deserves a trip to Lapland? FIVE SPECIAL KIDS WILL GET TO MEET FATHER CHRISTMAS ON A SUPER TRIP.

Byline: By SAMANTHA NANDA samantha.nanda@mrn.co.uk

TODAY is your final chance to give the dream Christmas present of a trip to Lapland to a deserving youngster.

This is the last day we will be carrying the form - and you only have until midday on Monday to get the completed entry to us.

So you have to be quick if you haven't already made a nomination.

For the past two weeks we have been carrying forms and inviting readers to nominate a deserving child for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to meet Santa Claus in Lapland.

The Evening Telegraph, Mercia FM, the Bhandal Dental Practice and Cosmos have teamed up to give five deserving children this extra special Christmas present.

We are looking for five youngsters aged 10 or under from Coventry and Warwickshire who have touched the hearts of those who know them or have had a difficult year.

The five lucky youngsters will fly to Lapland from Birmingham on December 19.

Along with one parent or carer each they will enjoy an action-packed three nights and three days in Santa's snow-filled homeland.

While they are there they will get the chance to try out husky and reindeer sleighing, tobogganing, and snowmobiling.

They will also visit Santa's Post Office and be able to deliver their letters in person and get the chance to meet Santa himself.

So, if you know of a child aged 10 or under who has had to cope with illness, hardship or bereavement, or perhaps been a kind-hearted carer to someone, we want to hear from you.

Just put pen to paper and fill in the nomination form along with a letter of no more than 150 words about why the child should go.

All entries should be received by midday on Monday, November 29, 2004.

The competition is for children aged 10 and under on December 19, 2004.
