Do all we can to halt virus.

THERE was great relief last night after it was revealed tests on four Irish people with suspected cases of swine flu were negative.

But there can be no room for complacency as the spread of the virus continues unabated.

The Irish authorities have been slow to act but at least the public did receive some reassurance from experts yesterday.

While this is a serious condition there should be no panic as precautions can, and must, be taken to prevent its spread.

Therefore it is imperative that the Government and the HSE must continually monitor the situation to make sure the disease does not reach our shores..
