QuickHire(TM) will allow the city to put all of its job openings on the Web - on the city's own web site - eliminating the need for resumes or paper applications. Job-seekers may then apply from anywhere, at any time.

Likewise, the city's human resource employees and hiring managers will have real-time access to applicant data, be able to track the progress of job openings, and communicate with job-seekers with the click of a mouse.

San Jose plans to go online with the QuickHire(TM) system by mid-June 2000.
