(AMEX: DVS), a single-source end-to-end provider of integrated security systems, announced today that Executive Vice President Sal Lifrieri will discuss future trends, services and technologies for building security at the Continental Automated Buildings Association Conference (CABA) at 8:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in Toronto.

Mr. Lifrieri, an expert in counter-terrorism who heads the Company's Technical Services Division specializing in emergency preparedness and risk assessment, will be among the industry leaders discussing evolving and breakthrough technologies and building security safeguards at CABA's two-day Intelligent & Integrated Buildings Conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

"An emergency management program that already is in place is a critical tool for helping to ensure that a business, high-rise building or manufacturing facility is able to continue operating following a disaster," Mr. Lifrieri stated. Mr. Lifrieri has broad experience in the field of emergency planning and risk assessment. He previously served as Director of Security and Intelligence Operations for New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management. Mr. Lifrieri also was a member of New York City's Municipal Security Section, where he headed the Protective Operations Unit, which was responsible for the personal protection of the mayor, his family and other city officials. Mr. Lifrieri was also appointed the leader of a joint federal/state law enforcement committee on Executive Protection, which was responsible for developing protocol and Standard Operating Procedures to protect senior government officials in the event of a chemical or biological weapons attack.

The conference will be attended by building owners and managers, consulting engineers and architects, security systems integrators and representatives of manufacturers, utilities and government agencies.
