Diversified Security Solutions CEO James E. Henry Talks About "New Dimension in Security" During Bloomberg Interview.

Diversified Security Solutions, Inc. (AMEX: DVS) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James E. Henry said today that the landscape for security system integrators is changing rapidly with threat assessment and vulnerability assessment becoming a key component of the Company's approach to new challenges in the area of Homeland Security.

DVS Executive Vice President Sal Lifrieri, who joined Mr. Henry in an interview with the Bloomberg Forum, said that putting crisis contingency plans in place before a terrorist act or natural disaster are critical aspects of the security business. "Natural hazards can affect a company as bad as a terrorist bombing," Mr. Lifrieri said. "A water main break in front of your facility can take you down and stop you from doing business. Those are the types of things that we want to key on."

Mr. Lifrieri, a counterterrorism expert who recently joined the Diversified Security Solutions, served under New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani as Director of Security and Intelligence Operations for the Office of Emergency Management from January 1997 to January 2001. He also is the founder of Protective Consultants Inc., a security consulting firm.
