(AMEX: DVS), a single-source end-to-end provider of integrated security systems, announced today that its Executive Vice President, Sal Lifrieri, former Director of Security and Intelligence under New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Conference on Homeland Security (NCHS), a not-for-profit organization providing education, training, risk assessment and preparation for a terrorist attack or incident.

In his role as Director of Security and Intelligence Operations for Mayor Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management from January 1996 to January 2001, Mr. Lifrieri was responsible for the management of security, intelligence and counter surveillance operations in New York City, and for developing protocol and standard operating procedures to protect senior government officials in the event of a chemical or biological weapons attack. He is a retired decorated 20-year veteran of the New York Police Department.
