Diversified Search Buys-Back Firm.


PHILADELPHIA -- MPS Group and Diversified Search Inc. have announced the buy-back of Diversified from MPS. Diversified will be owned and operated by a group of core managers including Chairman and former owner Judith M. von Seldeneck and Managing Directors B.A. (Mackie) MacLean, Jr. and Cynthia Heckscher.

"We have been fortunate to have had the experience of working with MPS," said Ms. von Seldeneck. The buy-back came about as MPS and Diversified reassessed their synergies and recognized that Diversified would be able to continue to build its business more effectively as an independent entity. "I am very excited to be working with my partners to continue to enhance the firm and our vision for it. Meeting the need for human capital will be key in the future as corporations face talent management shortages. We look forward to continuing to assist corporations in finding their leaders of tomorrow."

Diversified Search Inc. was established 30 years ago by Ms. von Seldeneck. Since then it has been recognized for delivering high quality consultative senior-level executive search services and corporate board searches to clients ranging from small, private firms and not-for-profits to some of the world's largest publicly held corporations. In 1998 the company was acquired by the MPS Group, a Fortune 1000 $1.2 billion provider of global human capital solutions. The buy-back of the company promises a continuation of the high standards originally established for the firm, which is headquartered in Philadelphia and has offices in New York New York, state, United States
