Diversified Product Inspections, Inc. (OTCBB:DPRI), a provider of independent product failure analysis, air contamination and fire investigations for the insurance industry announced today, that the company reported a profit in the first quarter of 2003.

John Van Zyll, president and CEO said, "DPI reported a profit in the first quarter of 2003 of $91,251 compared to a loss of $71,333 during the same period in 2002. First quarter revenues in 2003 were $566,730 versus $368,062 in revenues in the first quarter of 2002. This is the first quarterly profit that DPI has reported in a 10Q report since going public in March of 2001. This trend toward profitability started in the fourth quarter of 2002 when the company had a profit of $49,366. The core business of providing product liability inspections to the insurance industry, continues to grow at a rate of 35% in the first four months in 2003 over the same four months in 2002, and we feel steady growth will continue."
