") scavenger has now been added to Univar's purchasing and sales systems. DVS 6000 will be stocked in Univar warehouses in Alberta and across Canada over the coming weeks in order to coincide with upcoming changes to the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods ("TDG TDG Teledienstgesetz
TDG Transport of Dangerous Goods
TDG Three Days Grace (band)
TDG Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act (Canada)

") Regulations.

Effective January 1, 2003, Transport Canada will begin enforcing new regulations regarding "small means of containment" for dangerous goods, including truck-mounted scrubbers. All truck-mounted H2S scrubbers will have to meet the specifications for a "United Nations ("U.N.") standardized means of containment" if filled with ammonia or any other corrosive product regulated by the TDG Act and Regulations. One item of specific concern is the ability of the truck-mounted scrubbers to meet the crash test, a component of the UN specifications. For more information on the TDG Act and Regulations phone Transport Canada at (604) 666-2955 or visit their website at http://www.tc.gc.ca/tdg/clear/part5.htm (Sections 5.12 and 5.13).

DVS 6000 H2S scavenger is non-corrosive, non-flammable, has a freeze point of -45 degrees Celsius, and has only a mild odour. By replacing scavengers (like ammonia) with our DVS 6000, operators of the truck-mounted scrubbers will be able to meet the new January 1, 2003, regulations without modifying their equipment. DVS 6000 lasts much longer than ammonia, is user-friendly, cost-effective and a desirable replacement product for ammonia or other corrosive scavengers. There are only six weeks remaining before TDG Regulation changes become effective. DVS 6000 can now be ordered and purchased direct from Univar, placing Univar in an excellent position to take advantage of this regulatory change.

The estimated size of the truck scrubber market is in excess of $3 million annually for the Alberta market. Truck-mounted scrubbers, using ammonia, are used all over the world and Diversified expects to gain a substantial share of the North American North American

market over the next eighteen months. Diversified has received endorsement letters from Newalta Corporation, Carl Brady Trucking Ltd. and Strike Oilfield Services. These companies are currently using DVS 6000 for removing H2S in truck-mounted scrubbers and for cleaning vessels. (These endorsement letters can be viewed on our website at www.dvsind.com.)

We continue to work on setting up testing protocols, procedures and field trial sites for our DVS 6000 scavenger technology for other uses, including: pipeline injection, injection into steam, use with hydrocarbon liquids, removal of elemental trace sulphurs, reducing CO2, neutralizing naturally-occurring H2S in the production of pulp and paper, wellhead well·head
