Disys to extend mail measurement system into post Denmark.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 30, 1996--Disys Corp. announced that it has been awarded a contract to extend its wireless automatic mail quality measurement system (AMQM) throughout the Danish national postal network.

The initial installation, covering seven major sorting centres, will be completed during the summer of 1196, at a value of approximately $400,000.

This contract is in addition to the $5 million contract awarded in March 1996 to Disys by the International Post Corporation (IPC) to deploy the Disys system in 19 European countries to measure international mail flows.

Chris Gadula, executive vice president said, "This contract represents the next step in the adoption of the Disys AMQM system as the standard for quality measurement within post offices around the world. Once the IPC endorsed our system for international mail measurement, we knew that there would be great interest in extending the system into each IPC member's domestic postal network."

Chris Hall, managing director of Disys' European operation said, "We expect that at least one other European post office will adopt the Disys system to measure national mail flows in 1996."

Earlier this month, Disys announced an agreement to merge with Kasten Chase Applied Research Ltd., Canada's 13 largest independent software company and provider of internationally accepted advanced data communication platforms and network solutions for customers requiring real time, mission critical applications.

The proposed merger, valued at over $100 million, is expected to close following special shareholder meetings in mid July 1996.
