District South News.HALEWOOD: A Liverpool charity which helps people cope with grief, emotional problems and loneliness has landed a pounds 4,000 Sunrise Fund grant. Listening Ear, based in Halewood, has 85 volunteers helping 540 people a year. The organisation provides a free service to people who have psychological and emotional difficulties. The windfall will pay for a project which harnesses the skills and experience of senior volunteers. CITY: Liverpool Hope university Liverpool Hope University is a university in Liverpool, England. The fair will be held at St James Church Hall, Church Road South, from 11am-2pm. The event is free, and there will be refreshments, raffles and bric-a-brac.
