Apart from gay indie films, how did GLBT GLBT Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered  characters appear in this summer's big releases? Mostly as jokes and stereotypes

Land of the Dead. Queer element: A lesbian couple is introduced just in time to be slaughtered.

Wedding Crashers. Queer element: A desperate gay man and his nymphomaniac nymphomaniac

an individual patient habitually showing signs of nymphomania.
 sister both try to seduce Vince Vaughn. Stereotype index: 3 if you laughed; 9 if you didn't

Batman Begins. Queer element: Cillian Murphy's villainous Dr. Crane comes across as an evil queen.

Stereotype index: 4

The Island. Queer element: Ewan McGregor pushes Steve Buscemi against the wall of a men's room, Buscemi's pants down, and the two are mistaken for gay guys having a quickie.

Bad News Bears. Queer element: This remake deleted all racial insults but left in countless "fag" jabs.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Queer element: Two flamers with a poodle poodle, popular breed of dog probably originating in Germany but generally associated with France, where it has been raised for centuries. There are three varieties, differing in size only.  walk past the factory, gossiping.

The Longest Yard. Queer element: Saturday Night Live's Tracy Morgan Tracy Morgan (born November 10 1968 in Bronx, New York) is an American actor perhaps best known as a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2003. Morgan currently stars as Tracy Jordan in Emmy Award Winning NBC sitcom 30 Rock.  plays Ms. Tucker, a drag cheerleader at the prison.
