Display of affection: a major Warhol exhibit shows off the private collection of the artist's onetime boyfriend.

 may have been the quintessential New Yorker, lint lint - A Unix C language processor which carries out more thorough checks on the code than is usual with C compilers.

 one of the most exciting new Warhol exhibitions in years is debuting far from Gotham in Brattleboro, Vt. "Andy Warhol: The Jon Gould Collection" features 150 pieces, including two abstract paintings apparently unknown to Warhol scholars until now, plus collaborative works by Warhol with Jean-Michel Basquiat Jean-Michel Basquiat (IPA: [ʒɑ̃ miˈʃɛl basˈkja(t)]) (December 22 1960, Brooklyn - August 12, 1988, New York, New York) was an American artist.  and with Keith Haring. How did Brattleboro get so lucky?

The answer involves Jon Gould, a Paramount Pictures vice president who during the early '80s was Warhol's "romantic obsession," according to a muse um spokesman. The handsome scion sci·on

 of a wealthy, prominent family, Gould rang Warhol's chimes in a big way. Though their relationship was likely platonic, Gould lived with Warhol for a time, and by the time Gould died in 1986, he had amassed a trove of Warhol treasures.

Thanks to the friendship of Gould's twin brother, Jay, and an ex-museum board member, the collection is at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center Brattleboro Museum and Art Center is a non-collecting contemporary art museum located at 10 Vernon Street in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont. It serves as a link to the world of art and as a community center.  through February 6.
