Out of the $1.5 million, $500,000 will go towards the rebuilding of a club in Pass Christian, Miss. The 6,500 resident town of Pass Christian was overtaken by Katrina; over eighty percent of the town was demolished by the storm. Disney's contribution to Boys & Girls Club brings the total support over the last year to $4.5 million, $3 million concentrated on the Gulf Coast. |
