This fall, for the first time, Disney Interactive takes learning on the road with the Disney Big Rig Big Rig was a punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area fronted by singer/songwriter Jesse Michaels. Michaels performed with the group after the break up of his previous project, Operation Ivy, and before forming the band Common Rider. , an eighteen-wheeler truck turned state-of-the-art mobile showroom. Touring in September and October to key Southern and Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern  Wal-Mart stores, this traveling exhibition will bring the company's multi-subject Active Learning-based software titles to children and families in local markets throughout these regions. Disney Interactive will support the launch of the Disney Big Rig with local marketing and consumer advertising in each of the cities the mobile showroom visits. The company will work with each Wal-Mart store to coordinate promotion through flyers, circulars and radio spots.
