In celebration of Disney Channel's move to Time Warner Cable's Standard Service, the network brings Grammy Award-winning pop sensation Christina Aguilera and British trio BBMak to Times Square to perform at a special invitation-only launch event on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Rounding out the area will be floor-to-ceiling candy towers offering an endless supply of sweets and a DJ spinning the latest hits and crowd-pleasing classics.

The second floor of Times Square Studios will delight and entertain the party's youngest guests with special presentations of "Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney-LIVE!," a touring stage show featuring singing, dancing, storytelling and creative play.

Hosted by Tony and Vivian, stars of Disney Channel's original series "Out of the Box," this live show also stars Bear from "Bear in the Big Blue House Bear in the Big Blue House is a television program for young children produced for the Disney Channel by The Jim Henson Company. The program taught simple life lessons by following the title character and his puppet friends as they went through their day. ;" Olie and Zowie of "Rolie Polie Olie;" and Peanut, Jelly and Baby Butter from "Disney's PB&J Otter."

Christina Aguilera appeared on the syndicated series "Star Search" when she was 8 years old. At age 12, she became a Mouseketeer on Disney Channel's "Mickey Mouse Club," where she made her television series debut and received her early professional training in singing, dancing and acting.

Following a tour of Europe, where she further honed her vocal skills, Christina was tapped to sing the Academy Award-nominated song "Reflection" for the Disney animated feature "Mulan." She simultaneously signed a recording contract with RCA See RCA connector and video/TV history. .

Her self-titled debut album, which has sold 11 million copies to date, has spawned two major hits. The first is the sparkling, upbeat dance-pop number "Genie In a Bottle," followed by the heartfelt fun of "What a Girl Wants," and the recently released, "I Turn to You" and "Come on Over."

BBMak spent their summer as an opening slot on the Britney Spears tour and as headliners for "Disney Channel PremEARS in the Park" tour. It has been a heady year for the guys of BBMak (who get their names from the initials of their last names -- Christian Burns Christian Burns (born Christian Anthony Burns, 18 January 1976, in Liverpool) is the son of Tony Burns of "The Signs", a Liverpool based rock band signed to Decca Records in the 1960s.
