T-Mobile, through its WAP portal T-Mobile online, in conjunction with The Walt Disney Internet Group The Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) oversees several websites owned by The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries. [1] The division's Disney Online unit operates disney.  and Pixar Animation Studios, launched the largest WAP competition to date today with Disney/Pixar's Monsters, Inc. lottery, offering daily monster prizes worth (pound)1 million. The lottery is tied to the launch of the latest Disney/Pixar film, Monsters, Inc., which releases in cinemas today in the UK. An exclusive for T-Mobile online users in the UK, the lottery will run for seven weeks from February 8, 2002 - March 31, 2002. The unique campaign brings mobile data to the forefront as an interactive and entertaining user experience and serves as an early example of a leading brand leveraging the mobile as a marketing tool.

The Monsters, Inc. lottery went live on the UK site today and is under the "What's Cool" menu heading. Users simply register with T-Mobile online and are then eligible to enter daily for the Disney/Pixar Monsters, Inc. Draw. Numbers are selected and posted entirely through the portal and winners claim their prize via SMS (1) (Storage Management System) Software used to routinely back up and archive files. See HSM.
