Communications, Sumitomo and Wisecom to Demonstrate Complete

Broadband Solutions for the MTU/MDU Market

DishnetDSL today announced it is co-hosting an MTU (Multi-Tenant Unit)/MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Pavilion at DSLcon in Hong Kong, August 29-31, 2000, along with its partners. The pavilion will demonstrate complete solutions for hotels, residential complexes, and office buildings that want to bring their clients a high performance, reliable, and flexible solution to deliver the ultimate in high-speed Internet access through DSL and other broadband technologies.

The objective of the pavilion is to focus on how to resolve the challenges of providing broadband services to tenants in (especially older) buildings where wiring quality and other high-speed data transmission concerns are prevalent. In addition, the pavilion will demonstrate the critical need for a completely integrated approach to high-speed Internet access with essential system features like Plug-and-Play user access, Per Port Policy Management, Flexible Rate Billing, and Bandwidth Control.

Demonstrations will include applications from CAIS Software's IPORT(TM) Broadband Provisioning System (BPS) and Public Terminal System (PTS PTS
