THREE Anniesland College Anniesland College is a small, local further education college in Glasgow, Scotland, established in 1964.

Kenny Dalglish, the Scottish international football player was briefly a student, as an apprentice joiner, in the 1970s.
 National Certificate Professional Cookery students took the bronze award in the national SCOT HOT competition staged in Glasgow recently Robert Dobbs and Alexander Pama from Glasgow, and George McAdam from Balloch, had to go through a written stage and a heat to make it to the final stage.

They impressed the judges with their three-course meal consisting of a chicken starter , venison venison (vĕn`ĭzən) [O.Fr.,=hunting], term formerly applied to the flesh of any wild beast or game hunted and used for food but now restricted to the flesh of members of the deer family.  main course and a tropical trio dessert.

Joseph Rainey, senior lecturer in Hospitality at Anniesland College, said: 'I'm delighted with their success. They all put in a tremendous amount of effort and commitment and they thoroughly deserve this award.'
