Disgusting youth; yourLETTERS.MY wife and I spent a very happy week in Llandudno up until Friday evening June 12th. At around 8pm we noticed a gang of around eight youths fooling about near the shelter on Craig y Don promenade between Queens Road and Carmen Sylva Carmen Sylva: see Elizabeth, queen of Romania. Road. They were loud and boisterous, and upsetting to the many elderly people walking by. Two of their number decided to strip to their boxer shorts boxer shorts pl.n. Men's full-cut undershorts. boxer shorts or boxers Noun, pl men's underpants shaped like shorts but with a front opening boxer shorts box and go into the sea. The rest stood in a row and shouted obscenities to them from the promenade. A police car went past at this time (around 8.30) towards Colwyn, but to our dismay, despite unruly behaviour of these morons, the patrol car did not even stop to observe what was going off! Then, one of the 'bathers' wandered back to his mates, stripped off his wet boxer shorts and donned his jeans in front of everyone watching from the hotels and prom. However worse was to come. Four of them separately urinated in the sea facing part of the shelter, again with hotel residents trying not to watch. The last idiot to leave threw his large empty bottle of Frosty Jack's cider (still there on Sat am) on the grass by the road, when there was a litter bin litter bin n (BRIT) → papelera litter bin litter n (Brit) → poubelle f litter bin litter (Brit) n almost within his reach. I felt particularly sick that my wife had to witness this distressing behaviour. In the space of half and hour, we had witnessed six offences being committed. We're not sure whether we want to come to Llandudno again as we are both sickened by what we saw. Other watching holidaymakers probably feel the same. If this is a regular occurrence by a local mob of teenagers, then they need to be identified and dealt with. By the way, we noted that the promenade was cleaned daily by large vehicles, but never did we see anyone cleaning the shelters on the promenade. Surely this should be done daily also - and disinfected Disinfected Decreased the number of microorganisms on or in an object. Mentioned in: Isolation where appropriate. Two Holidaymakers |
