Directories from Food from Britain.


Food from Britain Britain (brĭt`ən), alternate term for Great Britain, comprised of England, Scotland, and Wales. Often used synonymously with the United Kingdom, the name Britain is derived from Britannia,  have recently published two directories - The Speciality Directory and The British Cheese Directory.

The former provides details of more than a thousand British producers who supply speciality food and drink. Dated 1999-2000, it runs to 160 pages and is divided into three Sections. Titles in Section 1 are: Introduction by Frances Bissell Bissell may refer to:

Each entry provides full information on the company, including a contact name, a list of their products and distribution area. Section 3 is a Product index which is in two parts - Alphabetical, and By group. The final section, Section 3, is the Product section, which enables the reader to locate suitable makers or providers of the product they seek.

The 80-page Cheese Directory runs to four sections. Section 1 carries subtitles sub·ti·tle
