DirectPointe Increases National Presence with Acquisition of TechnologyWorks.

The acquisition expands DirectPointe's national presence and provides a greater sales and support focus in the New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. TechnologyWorks was started in 2003 to manage the IT needs of small to mid-size businesses, specifically in the Boston and San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  markets. Current agreements for TechnologyWorks customers will remain in place, and each customer will have the opportunity to add new DirectPointe services. They will also have the option to add more extensive support that includes 24/7 phone, chat and e-mail support through DirectPointe's Network Operations Center See NOC.

Network Operations Center - (NOC) A location from which the operation of a network or internet is monitored. Additionally, this center usually serves as a clearinghouse for connectivity problems and efforts to resolve those problems.
 and DirectPointe eSupport, which, at the click of a button, instantly connects customers to a qualified DirectPointe support agent.
