LOS ANGELES -- Direct Response Financial Services, Inc. (OTCBB:DRFL) today announced that Edward Kim and Douglas Hume had been appointed to its Board of Directors and had accepted positions on the Board effective immediately.

Douglas Hume, Esq. has served as general counsel to the Company over the last year. He is a member of the California Bar Association. He will continue to act as general counsel to the Company.

Edward Kim is currently the President of Optimum Pay USA, Inc. Optimum Pay is a significant business partner to the Company as it provides third party processing and technology to the Company as part of its stored value card programs. Mr. Kim is also co-managing member of Direct Card Services, LLC, a subsidiary of the Company.

With the addition of Messrs. Kim and Hume the Company adds significant management experience and expertise particularly in the area of banking, law and finance critical to the success of the Company's stored value card business. Further, both Mr. Kim and Mr. Hume have experience in the direct marketing industry which will also assist the Company in its direct response marketing efforts.
